12 ounce an. Dark pour. Medium to light mouthfeel. Some bitterness. Some chocolate. Ok. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 6, 2017
Olivine, roast aroma, slightly nutty. Absolutely black. Tangy, effervescent, rich, tasty. Roast isn’t aggressive or clingy. A little earthy. Unusual and entertaining, not what I expected. On tap, Sweet Grass Cheese Shop, Thomasville. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Pours a clear dark brown body with a wispy beige head. The nose is roasty with burnt caramel and coffee. The flavor is fairly sweet with some roast, coffee, caramel, light chocolate. Medium bodied and indeed, slightly sticky, with soft light carbonation. Ok beer, but not something I’d drink with regularity.

Black/brown pour with tan head. Aroma is roasty. Flavor is sweet roasted malt and some flat almost wheat like stuff. Wonder if that is the oats? A slight earthiness to it as well. Some light bitter on the finish. pretty tasty i recon ordybill (1758) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - DEC 29, 2016
Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear dark brown to black color with a small tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. The taste is completely ruined by the fairly strong metallic aftertaste that destroys the roasted malt and raisin flavor.

Looks like Coca-Cola from the color of the beer to the looks and behavior of the head. Dark roast malt nose, moderately fruity, and a slight note of coffee. Nearly more tart than sweet, though the tartness is moderate. Flavors reflect the items detected in the nose. Not exciting, but no more offensive. oobawa (1403) - Tennessee, USA - NOV 29, 2016
Somewhat mild in taste and feel, especially for a big winter oatmeal stout. Still, all the wanted flavors are there--chocolate, coffee, mild sweetness and a hint of a bitter finish--and the lighter texture assures easy drinking. kayres (888) - , Georgia, USA - NOV 13, 2016
Black with a thick tan head. Big bodied and very smooth. Coco malt aroma. Sweet coco and vanilla flavors

Bottle at home. Black colour with a thin beige head. Sweet red cherry and chocolate notes. Medium body. Decent enough. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUN 10, 2016
Draft sample at Hops + Crafts in Nashville. Clear chestnut color with a thin brown head of tiny bubbles. Aroma is almost non-existent but a hint of chocolate. Thin mouthfeel. A light taste of malt and coffee but also a light hint of sourness that seems misplaced. Meh.
