3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Pours a golden orange color with a fluffy sand-colored head. Aroma of fruit and the prescribed biscuit malt. Soft and fruity up front, think apple juice, with the malt coming through in the tail. Just a little floral bitterness too. Enjoyable.
22oz bottle. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of toasty malt, herbal hops and some light fruitiness. Flavor is rich toasty/bready malt with light hop bitterness and a fairly clean yeast profile. Light body with mild carbonation. Nice beer, easy to drink and rather refreshing. Bomber bottle, shared with Parksy. Clear dark gold, medum white head, decent retention. Slightly toasty pale malts generously apparent, light fruity notes in the finish. Soft mouthfeel, medium bodied. Simple, but actually quite tasty and pleasant. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - JAN 13, 2011
Bomber pours golden yellow, mostly clear with a thin, quickly disappearing head. Aroma of sweet fruit and grain. Taste is pretty much what I expected, lots of grainy malt and apple sweetness. Not terrible, not a style I care much for though. mbgrayson (818) - Anaconda, Montana, USA - JAN 8, 2011
Pours a standard light gold color, with a white head. Aroma is a little sweet, but faint, typical of lagers. Smooth and drinkable, with a nice balance of malt and hops. You can feel the alcohol just a little. Not great, but still a thumbs up.
