12 oz bottle served in a lager glass.
Pours with a clear light copper body and, despite a fairly vigorous pour, a short bone-colored head. The head has good retention and coats the glass with foam when tilted.
The aroma is malt dominated and very appealing. The flavor has very good bitter/sweet balance even though it too is dominated by sweet malts.
Smooth medium body with medium-light carbonation. Foxbush (2086) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 27, 2017
Draft at Restaurant in Swansboro, NC The lager poured a clear dark amber color with an off-white head. Aroma was bready with the caramel malt also on the nose The lager had some latent sweetness but nice medium body. The carbonation was soft but with a clean finish. farrelbenton (1) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 15, 2017 does not count

One of my favorite beers, Bavarian malted barley, Noble hops, and lager yeast making it a rich and smooth tasting beer. No preservatives meaning you get only the freshest of brews.

Red Oak is the PUREST beer you can drink. Unfiltered and Unpasteurized.
Beer should be PURE like Red Oak..Great job guys and have fun.
This beer has enough CALCIUM and is good for BONES..PUREST of all BEERS available in the market.
Usually don’t rate beers as I love all of them but RED OAK ranks the BEST. yespr (47037) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - APR 17, 2017
From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma is breadish and slight roasted malty. Toasted breadish to caramelish malty. Bitter and dry malty finish. HourGlass13 (1009) - North Carolina, USA - APR 6, 2016
Pours up a reddish orange with a wispy, off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, fruit, alcohol. Taste is a little thin, with sweet, fruity, alcohol. Bland, lacking depth and complexity. A little too sweet really for what it is. Non offensive, just nothing great. GenDV138 (7579) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - MAR 31, 2016
12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Thanks to my friend Mike for the bottle. Labeled as Bavarian Amber Lager. Clear dark amber with just over a finger of off-white head. Aromas of malt, dark fruit, toasty notes, biscuit, some citrus. Tastes of toasty notes, biscuit, malt, some caramel. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Sweet and malty. jbruner (5121) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - FEB 21, 2016
Pours a clear golden brown on tap with fluffy off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of sweet malt and clean lager esters. Taste follows, solid for what it is, just not that exciting.
