50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Devon. Hazy amber/copper; skunky weet clove aroma, sour sweet flavour with a metallic finish. Ungstrup (39107) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2010
Cask at NWAF 2009. A pale amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and pumpernickle bread - reminds me of a bock. The flavor is sweet with notes of pumpernickle bread and hints of sulphur, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is light. OK - would be even better with more bock characteristics.

Cask at the Manchester inter Ales Festival. Amber colour with medium white head. Something odd in the aroma I couldn’t place, chips? Batter? Something foody and fatty. Taste was pretty decent though. I liked it, my notes are rubbish. johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2009
Bottle. Brown and poured with a medium head. Quite acidic which made enjoyment quite difficult. With a bit of care on the bottling front this might have been a pleasant bitter.
