Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Burnished gold with slight head. Heady, flowery beer, quite intense really, resinous hops, but a bitter nutty malt makes it a little unbalanced. Not really to my taste. shrubber85 (11322) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAR 22, 2008
Bottle. Raspberry and hazelnut malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Light raspberry malt and dry grassy hopo finish. Light but nice - quite enjoyable. leaparsons (10499) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2008
Bottle. Hazy amber brown with a large off-white foam. Aromas are toffee malts with citrus. Woody and earthy with cream and spices. Flavours are sweet toffee malts with lots of grapefruit. Some real lemonade with grapefruit and light woody pine on the finish. Has a long dry aftertaste. A very good bottled bitter.

Bottle, had this back in November 2006 picked up from picked up at Darts Farm, Topsham, Nr Exeter, Devon 12-11-06. This poured a hazy amber colour with hops on the nose. Taste came across as being a bit homebrewy which is fine it was also quite fruity, some sourness and hops again. Ok JorisPPattyn (9927) - Ursel, BELGIUM - NOV 13, 2016
Somewhat aged sample Towering dense & fine, slowly collapsing off-white head over clear orangey-golden beer. Difficult to perceive aromas with the huge head. Hoppy, herbal, chamomille. Slightly sharpish toasted flaovur over herbal, nettle-like hops. Slightly earthy flavour. Quite carbonated, light body but slick. Not half bad. Thanks to Stefaan! bottle, from Darts Farm. Cloudy amber-copper colour, mid-sized head. Malty base, pleasantly hoppy, especially in the finish. Intensive herbal flavours and hints of blueberries. Quite spicy. A good one! DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2009
