UT wine store bottle. Pours a dark brown with a bubbly tan head and thick lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and sweetened coffee. The flavor is dark malt, molasses and brown sugar. Finishes with light bitterness and a little alcohol warmth. Pretty nice.

Strykzone (7302) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 25, 2015
Sampled at gabf. Black. An ashy kind of smoky nose. Chocolate plus what I smelled are tasted. Some zingy hops bring a bit of bitterness. Fruit. Decent balance here.

Bottle thanks to Gription79. Poured to glass. Nose is moderate tobacco with some ashiness. Definitely more on the earthy dirty side than chocolate. Pour us lack with a huge, light brown head. Taste is initially acidic with a dried tobacco note. Lightly smokey as well. Some creaminess in the finish. Overall a decent offering but the lack of anything that’s not lighter than burnt coffee beans kind of turns me off a little.

drfabulous (7783) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - AUG 16, 2015
500 ml bottle thanks to Sledutah. Nice roasty nose. Dark pour. Creamy. Chocolate in chocolate ice cream richness. Medium body. Does not taste 10 percent. Nice.

Another one that surprised me, was afraid it was going be to heavy like a dark English draft, But it’s not, very is to drink smooth. would recommend.

Bottle during RBWG hotel lobby tasting night 1, 19/02/15 thanks to Craig? Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is earthy roast, spice, charr, chocolate, toffee. Taste comprises dark chocolate, toffee fudge, pinch of spice, tar. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok impy, easy drinker but lacks depth.
