Not a fan of IPAs but this one is drinkable. Starts out a little bitter but mellows out after a few pulls. Plenty of hoppy flavor slight after taste good head.

Bottle thanks to gription. Nose is full of citrus rind, lots of grapefruit. A very clear, light orange color with a medium sized head. Pithy smelling. Taste is immediately bitter with a harsh, rough flavor, very piney hop flavor and keeps finishing with a very rough around the edge bitterness. Hits a peppery not in the throat at the end. Hides the alcohol well at least. Just needs a smoother bitterness.

Pours golden and clear with a full white foamy head. Nose has high hop aroma with mild floral and spicy notes. Slight sweetness in taste but dry and bitter finish.

My favorite beer. As a hop head, this has enough hops to hide the alcohol content, and yet still provides a nice floral finish.

Bottle split on the booze buse during RBWG 15 - thanks to Craig?, 20/02/15. Golden orange with a moderate off white cap. Nose is pissy citrics, skunky hop, caramel malt, bitter orange. Taste comprises pine needle, mango, straw, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with licks of hop bitterness. Decent DIPA.

Bottle... RBWG 2015 Pours mostly clear and amber with a small, fleeting, white head. The aroma provides stone fruits and a big-time medley of citrus fruits tangerine, grapefruit and orange come immediately to mind. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The flavor is all about heavy, citrusy, rindy bitterness. Theres a sturdy malt backbone here, but it provides little flavor, just a viscous body a durable platform for the hops. Lengthy, bitter finish that dries out.

16oz. Purchased at Gracies in SLC, the pour Is a hazy amber color, topped with an off-white cap about two fingers deep. The bartender insists that this is the best double IPA ever made. :-) Sharp heavy pine on the nose, some grapefruit; not terribly juicy but thats not what I was expecting anyway. I do love dry hopping, but the edge of the hops cuts through, finding their way to the back of my tongue, a slight bitter, light on fullness in flavor. Mouthfeel is a bit off, as I enjoy a stickier liquid in a DIPA, the carbonation cuts through a semi-creamy brew and leaving a long, fairly comfortable afterward. Good, but not the best one ever made.

Bottle at the brewpub. Pours clear amber copper with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like smooth, sweet caramel, grapefruit hops, a hint of resin, and orange. Medium body and low carbonation. Smells like caramel, grapefruit, hop resin, and nutty malt.

Not much aroma. Bitter light not the best hop. Malt is present. Thin fading head. Eh. Get the low gravity stuff

Orange pour from bottle at Silver in park city. White sticky head. Grapefruit and bubblegum aroma. Taste is a citrus tropical and sweet perfected. Love it
