Bottle shared at Craft, many thanks to Craig. Pours hazy gold with a sturdy, white foam head. Big, sugary grapefruit nose. Sweet flavor though lightly drying with pale malts, further grapefruit and other, rindy citrus. Full bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sticky, resinous on the finish, more grapefruit. Good DIPA. Theydon_Bois (19788) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2015

500mL bottle, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, some resins and caramel bready malt. Flavour is fairly robust, with lots of piney hops and bone dry biscuity malt. My kind of double IPA - loads of piney hops and bone dry malt. Excellent. jtclockwork (16695) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 24, 2011
Elephino bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose/taste of caramel malt, tropical fruit and dried wood. Finishes slightly bitter and very dry. Medium body. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 10, 2010
A: The pour is an amber sort of color with a nice finger’s worth of off-white head.
S: A very pleasant citrus hop aroma of grapefruits and oranges along with a very nice pine note. A bit of sweet caramel malt underneath.
T: There is a bit more malt sweetness than I generally prefer for an IPA, but the piney hops provide a really excellent bitterness to the beer. The citrus notes are more subtle, but quite pleasant.
M: Medium both in terms of body and carbonation with a nice bitter finish.
D: This was really nice and I always enjoy trying a beer from a (new to me) brewery. I would definitely give this one another go. bhensonb (15351) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 28, 2012
