Pint bottle from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This is uber filtered and very clear. An amber hue and a one finger off white head that leaves cool looking lacing. A big nosefull of spices that are almost a spice rack of variety. Something green, too. Hops maybe? This beer tastes hot with alcohol being quite prominent. Malts are dominant and are very sweet. Spices are not too far behind with cinnamon in the lead. From somewhere a bit of fresh hops show up with that green flavor. The alcohol here was probably right but was too big for me. Still, I liked this beer. It had flaws but i like most people and all of them have flaws hayduke (5677) - Eureka, California, USA - FEB 26, 2014
This one was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured a very llear amber with an off white head and a lot of lacing . Nose of cinnamon, ginger. coriander. And nutmeg. Allspice maybe. Medium body. Lively mouthfeel. The flavor is much more subdued than the aroma, with lots of cinnamon on a good malt base. The finish is simply spicy and floral hops appear. This is a classic holiday ale. Spices dominate. This is overall a decent beer and the spices in the flavor blend nicely with the malts unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - DEC 26, 2013
500mL bottle. Amber color. Nose of spices, cinnamon, nutmeg. Tastes tangy, hints of Brett. Flavor is sour. Tastes like a Wild Ale, finish has no evidence of spices. Not what I expected. (3922) EdInSaltLake (748) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - DEC 10, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 11, 2013 Spiced (cinnamon, pepper, orange peel... Allspice, maybe?), sweet malt and cherry-like fruit character. Biscuit flavor in finish--which goes well with the spices. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Half liter bottle from Ale Yeah, Roswell. Pours a clear copper color with a large foamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of bready, buttery malts, mild citrus and a spicy finish. The taste is bready malts, citrus, apple juice, spice. Medium bodied. Solid.

Bottle:   Copper hued amber, clear, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Spicy nose, seems like nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove.   Reminds me more of a Autumn/Pumpkin like offering.   On the tongue it has the same spices, very pumpkin like, with a bit of mealiness to bring up the rear.   Its like a heavy spiced Pumpkin beer followed by an American Tripel of sorts.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, yet it does have a little heftiness on the tongue.   Backside shows a little bit of alcohol, but its not hot.   Decent offering.   Still conflicted with the image on the label with the spicing in the bottle.   I would say Imperial Pumpkin meets American Tripel for sure.   Interesting and fairly tasty.   Thanks Dallas for the bottle! mikey (508) - farmington, Utah, USA - MAR 12, 2012
Poured a clear golden amber color with a nose is mostly of nutmeg and cloves and a touch of maltiness beneath. The taste started big and malty then the spices kick in. Nutmeg and Clove were very pronounced then transitions into a Cinnamon spiciness. The finish was bright and piney. Gription79 (2892) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 27, 2011
500 ml bottle. Poured a bright copper with thin white head. Aroma of ginger, fruit, cinnamon, caramel JasonG (776) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - DEC 3, 2011
500 mL bottle purchased at brewery - pours an absolutely crystal clear yellow/gold color with medium sized pure white head. Aroma has light caramel as well as notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of cloves and orange peel. Flavor has a light malt backbone, with notes of honey and candied ginger. Finish is just to the sweet side of balanced. This is overall just decent - although I don’t get quite as a slap in the face from the spices as some other seem to have. Sampled at the SLC Holiday Tasting. Clear deep copper pour with a small foamy head. Aroma of caramel malt, ripe fruit, spice and a bit of alcohol. Flavor is slightly sweet and fruity with a hint of holiday spice and a decent warming alcohol kick. Nice.
