500 ml bottle from Sledutah. Thanks! The beer is a hazy gold with a big head of white foam. Great head retention. The aroma has spices like coriander, clove, cardamom, and ginger. Herbal and spicy aroma. Taste has earthy bitterness with spicy components, especially toward the back end of the taste. Dry and earthy bitterness in the finish as well. Medium body and high carbonation. Overall a great traditional Saison. Very refreshing beer.

From a 500 ml bottle it is a cloudy golden color with a massive white head. The aroma is Nice tropical fruits and floral notes. The taste is on the refreshing side for saison with a bit of a tangy finish .

From bottle itís mostly clear gold with a short but sticky head. Aroma is starchy grain, pale malt, hay, hops coming across as citrus juice and zest, along with a basic white pepper phenol and banana ester profile. Very reminiscent of so many other American-made saison. As it warms and breathes alcohol becomes noticeable, and the herbal qualities of the yeast become overbearing. In the mouth itís medium bodied, lightly sweet, turning tart, bitter, and lightly sour in the finish. Tepid carbonation and basic malt with grating / crude phenolic expression.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow, unfiltered. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, corn starch), lightly hoppy (herbs), lightly yeasty (basement), with notes of gum, banana, celery seed, coriander, fruit cocktail/syrup. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky. Light to medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. An ok rendition, but quite grainy/husky (aftertaste is like chewing on straw). A few other brews Iíve tried from RR also suffered some huskiness at varying levels, so Iím guessing the malt extraction isnít always the most meticulous. Aroma is a mix of good and not-so-good aspects, a bit Americanized and a bit crude in spots, but overall fine. Kinda disappointing in the end, given their solid lagers, but about average on a world scale.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a light golden color with a quickly dissipating fingerís worth of white foamy head. Clingy messy lace. The aroma starts off with a sticky floral to herbal sweetly malty to blended grassy hops. Some white pepper. The flavor brings a sticky sweet floral to sticky bready/yeasty malt. White pepper, again, but super light. Nice lean creamy sort of herbal to bready aftertaste with a wet sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a super nice smoothness on my tongue. Overall, really nice saison, very yeasty/bready, but very nice. Thanks Craig aka Sledeutah

Not my thing. To much carbonation. Light sour which I think could really be done with out. Apple and carbonation. Not very enjoyable in my opinion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells clean and citrusy. Pours cloudy with thick white head. Taste a little bit hop a little bit citrus. Tart but not too bad. I donít taste the "spice" but my palate isnít clean. Thin and crisp, not too shabby

Cloudy very light orange pour with fluffy white head a quarter inch high. Awesome mellow saison aroma - waxy citrus rind, lemon, bit of pepper and hint of bubblegum. Pretty light carbonation, airy fluffy mouthfeel, crisp effervescent finish. Flavor closely matches the nose with more bitter pepper and earthy tones. Pretty great saison.
