Cask (handpump) @ Anchor Inn, 308 Bradford Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, West Midlands England B5 6ET.
Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, plum, earht. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, chlorine, a dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Cask. Clear dark orangey brown with a beige, lacing head. Roasted, nutty aroma. Medium body, low in carbonation, nuts and burned caramel, wood and dried fruit - but also an odd chemical tang that really detracts. Rather hoppy finish. 160110
