Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.
Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090805]

[email protected] Copper colour, not much head. Aroma is wood, mild dry fruits as well as some earthyness and mild notes of pine. Flavour is much the same along with some citrusfruityness coming in quite strong.

Cask at GBBF. Clear amber beer, light and slightly dry palate. Pleasantly hopped but nowhere near an American IPA, not even close!

harrisoni (19398) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2009
Cask at GBBF 2009. Copper/amber, bubbly head. Good toffeeish IPA, yes not in your face, like some US IPAs, but good hop flavour, bitterness and general mouth enlivening. Solid, decent. Nice nettle on finish. Good English IPA.

Clear amber color, small white head. Sweaty, American hoppy nose. Resiny-citrusy hoppy flavor, some caramel sweetness too. Hoppy-sweetish flavor.

Fin (10970) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2009
Cask at Merton Summer Beer and Cider Festival, 17-07-09 Pours hazy gold with white head. This beer has a nice thrusting bitterness, its dry at the end and superbly hoppy. I like this and in particular those little stalacmite spikes of hoppiness that drop from the roof of the mouth. A6 A3 F8 P4 Ov14 3.5

leaparsons (10797) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2010
Cask, Leicester Fest 10. Lightly hazy gold with a small foam. Aromas are peppery pine with grapefruit and spiced oranges. Lots of aromatic hops. Flavours are sweet and fruity with grapefruit bitterness. Crisp with green pine. Some woody notes. Has a long bitter aftertaste. A good hoppy brew.

Cask Handpump at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 05/08/2009
Big hoppy aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity grapefruit flavour with a little dryness in a crisp and bitter finish.

Svesse (8821) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2009
(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 5 Aug 2009) Amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, pine needles and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, pine needles and a generous bitterness in the finish. Solid malt foundation gives it a good balance. Slightly above medium body, fairly sweet. Very nice and hoppy beer.
