275 ml bottle-A light golden in color with a head that dissipates quickly. Tast of a typical light pale lager. Was not too watery. Not bad. KennethJ17 (18) - Bethalto, Illinois, USA - AUG 28, 2006
A good light beer. Slightly different in many aspects of most light beers. I’ve only had it while in Jamaica and haven’t seen it at all locally. Would like to drink it again. Mirage52 (147) - New Market, Maryland, USA - JUN 5, 2006
From the bottle. Light golden color. Taste is obviously light with a slight trace of the spice and sweetness that is more noticable in original Red Stripe. I’ll stick with the not too filling original. frankenkitty (2014) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - MAY 3, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 10, 2006 Appeared clear and light with a carbonated fizz forming a quick white head in the bottle upon opening (no pour... swigged from bottle). Delicate aromas are florals and grains while the flavor finds a pleasant sweetness resting on pale malt haunches. Terribly refreshing on a day with 100% humidity, this is a beer which is perfect on its home turf.

pretty tough to find anything to work with on this one. Yeah you can drink one on the beach, but is it good beer? No.

Refreshing like water, Slightly skunky aroma and thin body. Nice to drink in a warm weather country I guess. bethmatt0421 (337) - Covington, Kentucky, USA - FEB 4, 2006
Just like Red Stripe, but lighter. I had both on tap at Couples Negril, Jamaica. Maybe its because I was already pretty deep in the rum, or just having a kick ass time altogether. They are both pretty good. DanielBrown (4546) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 7, 2005
Bottle at Knutsford Court Hotel, Kingston, JA. Not too bad for a light Lager I didn’t think. Refreshingness is what I look for when sampling such beers in hotter climates than the UK (so most of the World then), and this was swiggable enough. Soft, slightly sweaty flavour, but passable. Agree with other raters. Nothing there. No malt, no hops (no woman, no cry). Sorry. Wiseblood (700) - Clarksville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 14, 2004
Very pale yellow and lighter than most other Carribean beers. Weak flavor much like American macros, which makes this familiar and agreeable for most. Quite similar to Red Stripe except lacking fullness and body.
