Not too shabby but I happen to like Red Stripe. Clean dry malts, not much in the way of hops, just a touch of balance at the finish. A good pale lager here. Pale golden yellow. seymour (1989) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 7, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2015 Drank directly from bottle. Standard light lager characteristics. Virtually no hops aroma. Essentially a thinner, watered-down version of regular Red Stripe. Bland, but still has an alright dry finish. Fine on the beach if it’s really cold. Better than Bud Light and the like, and definitely a cooler-looking bottle. ghawener (1607) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - SEP 26, 2011
Bottle: Long time ago it was safer to drink beer than water, this is what is must have tasted like! I would choose this over water under the sun in Jamaica. Food Pairing: Anything and everything (like water). SanfordBrewer (1574) - Sanford, Florida, USA - SEP 21, 2011
translucent straw with no head; sticky light body with high carbonation.hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - SEP 5, 2011
aroma: pale malt sweetness, oily corn, funky high gravity esters.
taste: funky fruit flavors, oily adjunct sweetness, hints of pale malt and leafy hop bitterness.
vibrant sunshine yellow color.
it smells a lot like bad sake... rice, florals and honeydew along with cardboard, grain husk and canvas.
the flavor is the same and rather harsh.
the mouth feel is crisp but it has a starchy texture. 5/2/4/2/9

Bottle. Piss yellow pour with a white head. Aroma and taste of grainy funk. Just gross. scooterbub (1064) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - AUG 20, 2011
11.2 ounce stubby bottle. Pours a light golden yellow with a thin quarter inch white head that lasts. Lots of carbonation. Taste is of some malt, corn and grain. Has a similar light clean aroma. The body is slightly thin and on the watery side. Refreshing and easy to drink. Not a bad summer beer, but I prefer the normal Red Stripe better. troopie (2323) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - AUG 4, 2011
Just another pale macro lager. This one is for the dieters. No head, no lace and a pitiful watery flavour. If you go to Jamaica, there surely must be a rum drink you can afford. wlajwl (6747) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAY 30, 2011
Faint sweetness and not much else in the aroma, the appearance is so pale its almost closer to water than beer. The flavor is watery and has slightly grainy. No redeeming qualities to this. djaquay (138) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2011
No head, no lace, no flavor, faintest yeast aroma, palest yellow color, barely any alcohol. Wow, a new low. A bad taste might be worse, but it’s hard to call this beer.
