First brewed in 1938.
It is a light alcohol drink with not too strong bitterness but rather soft taste; therefore, it’s easy to drink it up.

Creamy phenols and alcoholic mash...Not that I was expecting much better, but the next time I'll use fresh water as a palate cleanser...

Brewed in Engeland, says the label. Not that it matters. Cornaroma. Sweet and bland, corny lager. No hops, cardboard flavor. Thin, cork flavor, if possible. This beer really sucks!

Golden yellow colour with a small but lasting head. Straight forward lager with nothing offensive. Yeasty soapy aroma with some malt flavours.

Jedsbrew (465) - Rhineland, Missouri, USA - DEC 1, 2003
This brew had a decent beery aroma, a minimal head and very little carbonation. Light bodied with a mild malty sweetness, almost fruity, and surprisingly it left some lacing on the side as I drank it. Passable but in no way worth it's inflated price, although the bottle has a nice grip to it and would make a dandy little Molotov cocktail.

Bottle. BLAH! Smoky and spicy, but not in a subtle way. Metallic and skunky. The only cool thing is drinking out of a stubbie like the McKenzie bros.

wildchefbill (245) - Sarasota, Florida, USA - NOV 23, 2003
Pours very pale yellow with a thin white head. A nondiscript malt aroma with a nondiscript flavor with a nondiscript hop aftertaste. A safe choice with bad restaurant beer lists. Nothing offensive (so it is better than bud-miller-coors) but nothing really good either. A favorite before I tasted real beer. Rating a little high due to nostalgia.

nigos (631) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2003
Light pissy colour with a fast disappating head, Skunky weak malted nose. Watery taste with a skunky crisp dry finish. Pretty poor stuff.

SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 20, 2003
Bottle. Golden and fizzy with a significant white head that diminished rapidly. Smells of malts and citrus hops, flavor is sweetly malted, touch of spice and mild hop finish - unremarkable really. Light body and fizzy carbonation. I pro'ly like 'im mo' betta ona Jamaica vacation mon.

bitter bite at first followed by a metallic taste and soon to follow it leaves a skunk taste in da mouth man

Slight dough/yeast smell to this almost sour tasting brew. Definitely light and somewhat metallic on the end.
