Ya mon, Jamacan Budlight. High carbonation, very light flavors, tastes like they use a lot of rice, not much malt at all, not much hops, but you can get a wisp of malt in the finish. The best thing about this beer is the bottle: stubbies. In the dark old days, all beer in Eastern Canada was sold in stubbies. The bottle brings back memories and the beer inside a Red Stripe is boring but inoffensive.

Not nearly as bad as I would have supposed (I'm 39 yrs old and this is my first ever Red Stripe!). Lagerish musty malty sweet nose, a very slight snappy hop close - yes there's a fair bit of overly sweet corn adjuncty taste, but I've had far far worse in that department.

A nice lager. A light hoppy character. Pretty much standard for an american beer. Fairly soft on the tongue and finishes smooth.

straw in color, nice aroma. Very light in taste. A ginger taste is most present.

Good color, small white head lasted nearly as the thought that this might be a great beer.Malty aroma with a mild hop presence.mostly the same in the taste with a mild hop bitterness in the after taste.Nothing special but worth trying.

What to say...what to say. Well, Red Stripe is certainly more flavorful than most of the macro pack. Kind of a sweet malty feel. A less scrupulous brewer might throw the "bock" label on this one and get away with it in America. Still, there is something metallic or chemical about the flavor.

The thing I don't like about Red Stripe is the price. Very pricy version of an Am. Standard brewing style. Having said that, I think this beer is very tasty. I can drink several of these at a time. There are better beers for the price though.

Average. Refreshing. Better than Budweiser. That's pretty much it, although it's refreshing enough to be my lager of choice (because of limited other options) at one below-average off-licence.

Well, I think it's ok to brew this beer, but why import it to Denmark? I don't get it. The water-tap is almost as good as this beer.

Below average pilsener. Skunky aroma, straw. Watery taste, hoppy taste. Dry and slightly bitter palate.
