11.2oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale gold with almost no head. Aroma is slightly skunky with some grains but also something floral and a little citrus. Taste is light bitter. Grains and herbal hops dominate with a little skunk. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a longer than average finish. Overall, not bad. Nothing super special here, but D&G does make some other really good stuff.

Light amber. Very small short lived head. Fizzy. Aroma: soap, citrus, pilsner hops. Easy drinking, not much bitternes. Not much of anything else either.

Bottle. Pale yellow in colour. Light bodied. Buttery malts. Slight hops. Sweet malty throughout. Drying finish. Easy drinking, but not particularly good. (2009-04)

Clear golden beer with minimal white head. Aroma is grain and malty. Taste is mild bitter and sweet. Watery body, not much to taste, but drinkable lager.

Bottle from a local shop. Aroma and flavour... exactly like the first time I was allowed to taste beer - I was 7 or 8 and it was a Lapin Kulta. Grains dominate, with herbal fakey hop character. Thin and overcarbonated. I guess Id be happy downing this bottle after bottle on a tropical beach. But right now its winter in the Northern hemisphere. Hence the score.

Bottle. Golden color. Aroma of grain and malt. Typical simple lager taste of sweet grainy malt and some mild bitters. Watery, but that might me desireable on Jamaica.

From bottle in shaker. Pours golden with frothy head and yeasty nose. Not in bad nick from the journey. I can see how this rates above average among PLs.

A Jamajski lager to po prostu lager. Jest trochę kukurydziany, głwnie słodki, goryczki brak, wyprany ze smaku i aromatu. Porwnywalne jak Japońskie Asahi.

330ml bottle, best before 2017-08-04. Pour light yellow and clear, fast white foam. Classic aroma of Pale Lager yeast. Taste is pretty close to water with some salty notes and light lager yeast. Medium carbonation for the style, light body and thin. Low bitterness finish. Refreshing yes, but boring.

Review: 500ml Can of Red Stripe: ABV: 4.7% The taste of Jamaica On pour we get a light golden yellow colour, that produces a big frothy white head, with a lot of nice carbonation. The beer looks ok. A nice head that maintains, and some nice lacing. A slight beery smell on the nose, real lagery aroma. Malts and grains, but overall not a whole lot to smell. Faint. On taste I get a very nice mouthful of tastes, a filling and refreshing feel in the mouth. Tastes ok, mostly creamy, with some cereals tastes, and a good bit of grain. Nice enough. There is a very stringent taste though (lemon and lime), that lingers throughout which is not very nice and is very pointed. But overall has a real lagery taste and is quite sessionable Hard to rate and not bad, but would like to try again.
