1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
DATE TASTED: August 9, 2013 ... GLASSWARE: pilsner... OCCASION: continuing a pleasant evening alone ... APPEARANCE: pale golden body with disparate bubbles rising intermittently; two-finger head settles out to a semi-foamy froth that holds stronger than expected... AROMA: a metallic ping flicks the nostrils while corn and syrupy sugars pungently remind me this is a watered-down lager... PALATE: thin, slightly oily; easy drinking, if not for the...TASTE: whoo, haven’t had this in a while, and I recall what happens when sentiment is sifted from the senses: sentiment is "this is the fun shore beer that is sold by that cool Jamaican dude in the TV ads"; the senses say "this is a funky hay-worn adjunct that has minimal profile beyond the sweet forty-ounce malts that wrestle the tongue".... OVERALL: Tough to distinguish this lager from any other mass-produced pilsner, save for the cute bottle and Jamaican locale--and even that is untrue, as the label sports Old Latrobe as its brewing and bottling site; as the second beer of the night, a mouth rinser that is little more than a cheap summer uplift...
Pint. Pours a pale clear gold with thin white head. Aroma: Mild biscuity malt, grass, citrus notes. Not aromatic. Taste: Very mild biscuity malt. Thin bodied. Moderate carbonation. Mildly sweet. Not much to this beer. Very average. camay1997 (20) - patton, California, USA - JUL 24, 2017
A frothy white head atop a pale yellow body. The smell is minimal and indistinct. It taste just like it smells. A little bland and bubbly, but great off the palate. It’s like a session beer, but at import prices. It’s not a bad beer, it’s rather good. But there are better beers and there are cheaper beers too. jacobarts (208) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2017
Bottle Bought in meny in grimstad norway. Bright clear pale color with fastly diminishing white head. Aroma. Some malt. Weak aroma. Taste is like a sparkling water, refreshing on a hot summer day. dorain (293) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 8, 2017
Aus der Flasche im 2013-01 getrunken. Sicher nichts besonderes aber ein schönes leichtes Bier - überraschend gut trinkbar für warme Tage. cattaneopapa (391) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 7, 2017
330 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear straw colour with a small head that dissipates quickly. Skunky aroma. Taste is malty with notes of lemongrass and bread. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle in marseille, France. Quite normal lager, i guess it’s ok to have it on a Jamaican beach Turtles (2656) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 22, 2017
330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Looks very thin clear for sure, pale golden. Medium sized brief head that disappears almost completely, only some lacing. Sweet grainy aroma, syrup and canned corn. Thin and watery mouthfeel, medium carbonated. Sweet sugary taste, sweet grains and boiled vegetables. Lacking bitterness, very poor brew. Bacchus66 (383) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 21, 2017
12oz bottle. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Malt nose, grainy corn, hops flavors. Light body, fizzy carbonation. Not much to this. Nice to have one in hand, but from a strictly taste perspective it’s nothing special. AlfredoGarcia (287) - Santiago, CHILE - JUN 19, 2017
Had it in a bar. Fantastic packaging, the bottle is really cool. Better than the average lager, but not that much. cervezadrinker (68) - MEXICO - JUN 15, 2017
liked the bottle, reminds me a medicine bottle; pale yellow color with white head, very clear, aroma is malty with mild hops, taste is the same, low bitterness, light body, imo is decent for a macro lager, easy to drink and would pick this one on a sunny day... after that is a bit boring and nothing special. yet, better than most macros i used to drink.
