Lager with Light color white foamy head, very light, not strong taste, not bitter. Easy to drink but definitely nothing great about it.

Can. Pale yellow body, small white head with average retention and some lacing. Aroma of skunky herbs, wet cardboard, grains and corn with some metallic notes. Taste of grains, mineral water, corn, grass and cardboard. Bad.

Et ganske godt øl, passer til det meste av mat. Også behagelig som tørstedrikk. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl. bottle @ Home. Aroma: not very intense but weird aromas. Subtle hints of citrus, corn, unfermented grains, grains, cereals. Some floral/herbal/grassy overtones. Appearance: yellow to light golden color with perfectly white and creamy head. High head thickness. Medium to high retention. Crystal clear. Low Brussels' lacing. Taste: low sweetness, low bitterness, low sourness. Very weak and not very pleasant flavors. Hints of citrus, grains, cereals, fruits, metal. Balanced but not much flavor in here. Palate: low to medium body, watery texture, high carbonation, short slightly dry finish with low bitterness and the same not very good flavors. Alcohol is not noticeable. A little bit of astringency. Overall: flavors and aromas are weak, boring and not pleasant. Not a good beer.

330ml bottle into lager glass, best before 6/24/2018. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers.. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, light honey, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A bit too fruity/yeasty. Taste of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, light honey, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy hop bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Nicely clean on lager flavors, not too fruity/yeasty. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery feeling. Overall this is a solid adjunct pale lager. Good robustness of malt/corn and mild earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Clean malt/grainy corn flavors with touches of balancing hops. An enjoyable offering, and good style example. Met my expectations.

It is a lager at all. Colour, foam and smell. Light taste, lightly bitter at the end of the sip and a nice aftertaste of malt. A nice beer for its style and with a great drinkability. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells like a lager, pours like a lager, head dissipates quite quickly in a glass but honestly you're most likely drinking this out of the bottle if you're in the Caribbean...which is the ONLY place I recommend drinking Red Stripe. If you're in North America it tastes nothing like the Jamaican product and that's likely because it's sweetened with HFCS here. On a hot day at the beach in Jamaica or Grand Cayman, a Red Stripe straight out of the bottle goes down like magic.

Decent beer and decent price, enjoyed many. Better when ice cold and would be enjoyed more in warm weather. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
