First brewed in 1938.
It is a light alcohol drink with not too strong bitterness but rather soft taste; therefore, it’s easy to drink it up.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2005 Bottle. Everything about this beer is light. Light, sweet fruity aroma. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Thin, slightly north of watery mouth feel. Sweet malty flavor. Its difficult to pinpoint specific flavors. Sweet, honey aftertaste that disappears quickly. Very, very refreshing. Defiantly better than most easy to find cheap lagers. Lack of strong flavors may put some off, but I found it pretty nice. I visited Jamaica 7 years ago, and this is the only thing that anybody drank. It makes sense for the climate.

Not the worst choice for a lager. Classic, a bit stale and dry. Grassy finish. Very effervescent. Tried for the first time in 2007.

From bottle in the UK. Cheaper than local beers and not always the worse choice. Not bad for a Lager (but, still, a Lager).

Keg at the Union, Aylstone. How has it come to pass that I have not rated this one? Golden yellow, lots and lots and lots of carbonation hold up a firm white head. Skunky, corny aroma. Sweet taste, with a hint of orchard fruit, but there's a more saccharin finish. Not a lot to this, I've has worse lagers though. Drinkable enough.

Lite smak og slapp i fargen. Kan nytes i varmen i arbeid og for enkelte er den grei på fest. Kul flaske. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaska från SB. Ljust gul med vitt skum. Doft av citrus och brödjäst. Smak av bröd.

Can. Clear golden colour, white foam. Light sweet malty, some bitterness. Not the baddest lager.

355ml bottle. Appearance: A Very clear golden body, with a minimal sized head, that is gone almost immediately. aroma: malts, allmost, corn (? ) Taste: Sweet, light matls, corn, checmical tones , corn and some hops. Low carbo and thin watery body. ok as a refresher, but not a good beer. (BACKLOG)

Nice, refreshing and light in appearance, but not special enough to rate higher. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

24 ounce bomber in Texas market and actually brewed in Jamaica which was a surprise after checking the bottles out with my spectacles. Pours clear yellow with lots of visual carbonation which adds to a lasting white head. Light malt aroma with little hop bitterness as stated. Light body with a refreshing clean finish for a hot humid day. On par with any Central European Lager.

Bottle (4,7%) at Smögen. Pours clear yellow with small head. Aroma of malt and citrys. Well balanced taste with a nice finish. An ok beer.
