The best, hands down. Extra points for looking like a cheap ass beer in that weird bottle. Wish it didn't cost so much so I could drink it more often. jasoncassidy86 (1) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - OCT 29, 2006 does not count
red stripe is my favorite lager. I wish it was available in the pint size in more locations in the U.S. It is a very sweet lager with a pale apperance. It has little to no head and the commercials are great. Boo creepy foot doctor. Hurray Beer!!! newstripico (1) - USA - SEP 2, 2007 does not count
It is NOT an Abbey Dubbel...im unsure what specific. i think it is a light ale. it is similar to a Pacifico but better. JAMAICAN REDSTRIPE is great beer. JMan420 (1) - Memeville, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2015 does not count
Literally my favorite beer, a premium brand fresh from the shores of Jamaica. It tastes good and makes you look cool while you’re drinking it. It’s also a talking point as it is fairly unknown, for example "Hey, what’s that?" "Why, it’s Red Stripe, a delicious Jamaican lager beer" "May I try some" "Absolutely" and so on. Would recommend, 10/10. CrimsonGhost1971 (188) - USA - FEB 20, 2002
I love Red Stripe. Good flavor. Good bottle design.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2009 When it comes to imported or expensive beers, i.e. Guinness (beer flavored coffee), heineken (highly overrated) Corona (good only with a lime) this beer is most certainly the Nectar of the GODS. it has a slightly sweet taste remeniscient of Opium in its wonderful aftertaste. Invented by two white guys then they moved to Jamaica and brewed and sold it there, and now primarily drank by Europeans, it is still a wonder and a delight to touch this fine, deliscious, nearly perfect beer to my lips. Expensive, but worth every cent mikeben (355) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - MAR 22, 2002
UPDATED: SEP 15, 2007 I have to really go out on a limb here. I like this. It isn’t bold flavor wise but it really is a fine basic beer. It has a mild sweetness that has kind of a breaddy mouthfeel. This has become a fave Bozwell99 (9) - ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2002 does not count
This is without a doubt one of my all time favorite Largers. Best out of the pump, and drunk cold on a hot day.
Has a very clean flavour and is very pale in colour. buddahh420 (4) - bellevue, Nebraska, USA - APR 3, 2003 does not count
No strong after taste, take time to paint on the label. Goes down smooth. Not for the average beer drinker. More of an aquired taste. But a definite must at every venue from a bar to a wedding.
