The color is very dark amber, with small creamy head, not as dark as expected. Very light aroma of roasted malt. Dry mouthfeel; there is some flavor of roasted malts, coffee, roasted nuts; overall it has a roasty and dusty character; correct bitterness.
Not a real Porter, more a crossover with a Stout.
Aromas of dark chocolate with a hint of sweetness. Medium bodies, good depth of flavours and quite smooth. Cocoa, coffee, and a little bit of sweetness made this an enjoyable porter. Finishes with a roasted bitter note. GothGargoyle (2587) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 14, 2012
Relatively clear ruby brown with a decent pale head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, toffee, straw. Medium bodied, well balanced on the palate with a roasty finish. Taste is toffee, cocoa, roasted malts.
