wasnt a bad beer when I was growing up . . it was still sweet, metallic and boring but drinkable . . just a regular crappy beer that did the trick BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - AUG 9, 2008
Used to have a girlfriend that drank this back in the day, it was her everyday around the house beer. Still mediocre, the carbonation is a little more balanced in this one. Sweet grainy caramel maltiness, with a flabby watery finish. unclemike (3124) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - JUL 30, 2008
Color fairly attractive with advertised rouge tones--fizzy macro head. Flavor slightly sweet, slightly tangy, not bad but overpowered by excessive carbonation, which ruins any reasonable mouthfeel it might have otherwise had. Very mediocre macro effort Hopdup (70) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAR 18, 2008
Not a great beer for what I can remember. It was a red dog competitor and notvery successful, Red dog sucks too, ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - FEB 13, 2008
What a crock! This is a bud with a tea-spoon of sugar and a drop of red and brown food coloring. Then they put it in a bottle with a wild animal on the label and came out with a new beer.

Draft. For whatever reason I didn’t find this too awful, obviously it was some AB crap so my expectations were low.It had a hint of flavor so that’s not bad rodenbach99 (4572) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 26, 2007
bu en fût
bière de belle couleur cuivré-ambré, mousse chimique, on dirait une bière blonde colorée, petit nez malté, très léger, la bouche légère un peu malté, caramel. finale courte, bière dans le style de la rickard’s red. sans intérêt. DrPiva (96) - Alabama, USA - DEC 21, 2007
Can’t beleive this crap is still being made. Red wolf? What does Budweiser know about wolves anyway? Better than Bud but not by a lot. Tmoney99 (14479) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 27, 2007
Draft at Captian Curt’s on Siesta Key, FL under the name Crabby Red. Poured clear reddish brown color with an average white creamy head that slowy diminished with fair lacing. Moderate malty citrus aroma. Medium body. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations were met.
