This beer isn’t as bad as some of A-B’s other mass produced products. Actually a lot better. Aroma of beer (what else can I say?). Pour is a typical light gold with a one finger white head. Taste is like Budweiser with a little less carbonation. I used to love this when I first turned 21 as I thought I was expanding my beer horizons. Little did I know what was to come over a decade later! pumpmaster (1393) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - OCT 26, 2007
12 ounce bottle. Classic macro brew product for less than $1.00 not worth a comment. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2007
The beer has a budweiser consistency to it, rather on the heavier maltier side, but lacks the carbonation that the major beer has, which isnt a bad thing. prosqtor (408) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 6, 2007
This is not the worst A-B offering, but putting red coloring in the tanks does not a red make. Weak taste, although there is a fairly nice malty/hop aroma. Too bad we don’t drink by smelling! faroeviking (10910) - FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 8, 2007
Bottle. Reddish-brownish colour with an average head. Aroma of some toasted malt and little hop. Somewhat waterish toasted maltish flavour with some sweetness. Little bitterness in the finish. One of the better brews from A-B. The label is the very best thing about this beer!

It’s been a long time since I could get this beer in Sacramento. Would love to try it again. The color and label is probably the best part, but it wasn’t a bad beer for the price. Crisp finish, light taste, and a decent flavor. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2007
Not the worse Pale lager I ever had. It was just typical thin with no real imagination went into this other then it is red. I tried it and thats it. nekothered (1) - phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 11, 2006 does not count

The only thing about this that makes it an ale is the fake red color. Stick to watered down macro’s Bud. SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - NOV 20, 2006
12oz bottles. Should be called Red Bud instead of Red Wolf. Killians is a better red macro.
