Bottle. Pours a clear russet with a light, white head. Moderately sweet nose, good amounts of corn, some apple, very faint, earthy hops detectable. Flavor is sweet and a lot like cider. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet with notes of...sorghum. Not bad, exactly. mcberko (19805) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 28, 2017
12 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is dull, with cardboard and earthy notes. Flavour is dull, with lots of cardboard and earthy notes. Useless beer. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
A: The pour on this beer is light orange-amber in color with a small white head.
S: Smells...strange. A strong aroma of menthol. There are certainly some bandaids mixed in there. A bit of grass and dry malt extract. Light popcorn to it as well as a touch of mint.
S: Tastes worse, somehow. Lots of green apple which gives a slight sourness, but not in a good way. Heavy on the popcorn with more bandaids and menthol. It tastes of wet paper or cardboard. Definitely a hint of rubber, too.
M: The body is light, very light, with medium carbonation.
O: I hate you Bobby. This was awful. djd07 (16289) - Houston, Texas, USA - SEP 15, 2007
Bottle. Pours a red amber color with a medium off white head. Has an aroma of light hops and citrus. The taste is a watery sweet malt. Not too much going on with this except its sorghum tag. bhensonb (15964) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 17, 2007
Nice light smell. Like wheat? Like an amber ale - "malty" with some hop? Certainly not that corny Bud aroma. Light amber color with a white head that went fast. Medium mouthfeel. Starts very nice (almost like a light amber ale), then gets a burst of sweetness, followed by a complex of unfamiliar flavors. The finish seems fairly balanced with hop, dominated by a strange flavor that must be the sorghum. Makes me think of Mongozo. Better than Bud any time.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel and fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of light bread and a hint of carmel with a crisp clean finish. This was a VERY watery tasting beer! Tmoney99 (15116) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 31, 2007
Bottle from Wild Oats, Cincy. Poured dark clear amber with a large off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate balanced malt and hop aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced flavor with a bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is better than my expectations. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 7, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a large fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of nutty notes herbal and peppery hops. The taste is apples, nuts, honey, herbal hops and a tinny note. Medium bodied. Decent. Dogbrick (14300) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 6, 2008
This brew pours a clear copper-amber color with a medium thick and fizzy off-white head that burns off quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grain and bready malt. Light-bodied with a mildly bitter hops character, and flavors of sweet malt and caramel. The finish is short and lightly bitter. Below average and completely forgettable overall. Lubiere (14240) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 15, 2007
An amber ale with a thin white head. Aroma of nail polish remover and caramel. In mouth, a light caramel malt with light mineral notes. Light bodied non descript ale. Bottle 11th Annual CNY Brewfest, Feb.5 2007.
