3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle Shared by Deyholla, thanks derek! Pour is a hazy chestnut with a soapy white head and a good amount of sediment (thought that may be due to the fact that this is the last glass of the bottle.) Nose is sweet fruits; cherries and dates with a syrapy honey and some resin. Taste is similar. Very sweet, fruit, syrup. A bit sweet for what I was expecting which made the glass wear on me.
Pours a bit murky golden with a quickly dissapearing beige head. Aroma is malty sweet spicy/cloves some fruits and sour. Flavor as aroma, some acetone cellar character and astringent. OKplus (787) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 9, 2013
A - Pours a hazy orange/amber with a billowy 2 finger head that retains well for the ABV.
S - Lots of fruit and spice - bananas, candied pears, apricots, tart plums, apples, clove, breaths of alcohol.
T - Starts out sweet with a mix of sugary and tart fruit, pear, tangy mango, apricots, bananas, tart strawberries. A good amount of clove and peppery spice then turns very dry with notes of grape skins, and some subtle hops on the finish.
M - Medium body with tight carbonation, slightly syrupy, very dry.
I’ve been waiting to break this out since it hit the shelves in Febuary and I couldn’t wait any longer. The nose is very complex. Great Belgian flavors that are hard to pick out but meld together very well. A very good example of the style. This beer brings more character than I expected and I’ll definitely be picking up a few more bottles for the cellar.

Light, malty, yeast, but pretty plain jane for a belgian pale ale. Not the best attempt. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 4, 2012
The pour is a hazy golden orange color with a white head. Really nice sweetness on the nose of orange and tons of pineapple. Quite citrusy with some caramel candies. A light floral note, some mild alcohol, and good tangerine. The flavor is almost pure pineapple juice. Very enjoyable. Some sweet caramel and toffee, a bit of floral hops, tangerine peel, and oranges. Mild booze on the finish. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Smells like bread. Very neutral. Some background spice. Flavor is oddly creamy. Oxidized. Not good.

My dear old crippled mother forgot to wake me up this morning and I missed my bus so she had to give me a lift in her invalid carriage. I kept telling her to put her foot down, her good one that is, when the police stopped her for speeding. They gave her a breathalyzer test. Well she only had time to cook my breakfast this morning so all she had was a quick liquor chocolate and it was still on her breath when she blew up the bag. By the time I bailed her out and got down here I was very nearly late. mar (5415) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 16, 2011

Bottle thanks to Eric! Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and cookies, with some backing notes of oak and a bit of sugary fruit. Flavor is quite sweet with sweet grains and cookies with a bit of syrupy fruit and just a hint of oak. beastiefan2k (3981) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - SEP 17, 2011
750mL bottle that I was able to procure thanks to ericandersnavy and then beerbeggar. Its a sweet Belgian beer, very sweet, like a sweet Tripel. Has a thick body. Its a bit apple-y in the flavor. Basically just a strong sweet Belgian beer.
