Cask - The Wheatsheaf, London. A clear amber beer that poured with a small, creamy & lasting off-white to beige head leaving a near uniform lace. Juicy red fruits, apple & caramel on the nose. A bit thin & feeble on the palate. Moderately sweet & fruity malts, some background biscuit with caramel & yeasty touches. Minimal bitterness & a short finish. Soft, light body. Drinkable but unexciting; needed more body & depth for my tastes.

Cask (Wheatsheaf, post-RBESG2011 Monday)
Almond and apple. Hmmm, just copy the rating from the previous beer here, the Titanic Sundeck! Nah, not that bad. Nice soft malts in the mouth. Hopping all in the dry bitterness, but even that is very moderate. Super easy bitter, probably a winner fresher.

HogTownHarry (7064) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2011
Cask at The Castle. Clear oily-looking gold with a smallish lasting frothy white head. Nice oily cereal grain aroma, somewhat floral, not too sweet; simple. Taste follows, some sneaky herbal bitterness in the tail. Average chewy body, very light astringency, acceptable carbonation, with a reasonably long somewhat grassy/floral mildly bitter finish.

Cask conditioned at The Wheatsheaf, Borough. Burnished gold with white head. A fairly straigh, light, boys bitter, really quite sessionable if the mood took, no outstanding features, but sometimes that’s what you want.

Cask på Castle, Holborn 4 Okt 10. Lys gylden. Veldig lavt skum. OK fruktig aroma. Smaken innholder litt plommer. Brukbar fylde. Frisk syrlig men med en tung, fruktig undertone. God.

ladnewton (2014) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2010
Cask at the Castle, Holborn, London on 27th October 2010. Amber with a thin white head. Citric hoppiness and notes of floral hop/elderflower. Bitter and citric tastes in the finish. Light texture. Pleasant session beer.

Svesse (8731) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 11, 2010
(Cask at Castle, Chancery Lane, London, 3 Aug 2010) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, canned peaches and dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, light sweetish malt and dusty hops. Light body, balanced sweetness. Nothing remarkable, but a decent bitter.
