6 Simple malty sweet aroma.
3 Mid orange, small head
6 Simple malty body
3 Soft palate, carbonation low
12 Adequate bitter. No way is this premium/ESB. Unless ’ESB’ stands for ’extremely simple bitter’.
From cask at Wheatsheaf. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is sligh malty and vague herbal hoppy. Sweet and malty flavoured. Crisp fruity and bitter. Dry hoppy. Bitter too. fonefan (51064) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2009
Cask (handpump) @ The Wheatsheaf, 6 Stoney Street, Southwark, London, Greater London England SE1 9AA.Rune (13506) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 16, 2009
Clear light to medium yellow orange amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Half pint, cask in fine shape at The Castle, Holborn. Dark amber content. Naked surface. Inviting smell of dried fruits. Caramel malts in flavour mixed with leafy hops. Modest bitter finish. The smell promised a bit more than the flavoured could hold. Soft carbonated (London, 03.08.2009). TBone (18221) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 3, 2009

Clear copper brown color, steady off-white head. Nutty woody hoppy aroma. Sweetish, toffeish flavor. Late light bitterness. Middle of the road cask ale. 6/3/6/2/11 2.8
Pale amber color, steady medium-sized off-white head. Light nose is malty with some sweetness. Flavor has sweet maltyness with light fresh hops in the finish. Reasonably ok session beer, although not very complex. 6/3/6/3/12 3.0
Cask in the new wheatsheaf, borough market. Alround rating: Pale honey malts, grassy and fruityness off the hop, bit of tangarine, not much bitterness in the finish though. Christian (13815) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2009
Amber with a small white head. Aroma of toffee, butter and citrus. Dry and fruity flavour and slightly tart rabidbarfly (62) - London, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2009
Amber colour very light and hoppy bitter. Does not look like a typical summer beer. Tastes almost identical to youngs ordinary only it has more malt character.
Uninspiring but drinkable beer. harrisoni (19327) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2009
Cask handpull at Wheatsheaf (new), London, Copper, thin off white head. Very fruity and then this grassy dryness, quite a combitnation so fast in the mouth. Malty aroma, fullish fruit salad in mouth. Some hop on finish. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2008
