Big bold and surprising This is our interpretation of the classic pale ale. You’ll sense fresh fruit flavours with a rich caramel smoothness and a lasting bitterness on the finish. Brewed using the very best maris otter pale malt and an adventurous blend of American and New Zealand sourced hops. 5.5% abv

On tap at the brewery. Pale weizen amber. Frothy. Scent is medium notes of late hops. Taste is consistent and fairly mature and great pale ale . Finish lovely and apa like. Great.

Keg at Rose and Thistle, Frimley Green. Slightly disconcerting overly sweet mango and honey aroma..Pale gold. Slightly hazy. Thin white head just skims the surface. Medium bitter, althought this gains strength into the finish. Peppery grapefruit. Some hints of underlying sweetness to match the aroma. Light. Thin but slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Fine. A bit too lght and fizzy for me.

Draught at The Library, Oxford St. Clements. Gold with white head. There is a peachy, pear character to this, some citrus, zesty notes too with a kiwi fruit hint. The body had a touch of sweetness but was also reasonably crisp. Very pleasant.

Frothy white head stayed on a hazy light golden body. Fruity aroma with stone fruits & citrus. Medium bodied, crisp, clean & a tingly finish. Bitter/Sweet citrus, grapefruit, peach & nectarine. Very nice.

Bottle. Hazy yellow, smaller white head. Aroma malt, citruses. Medium light body. Bitter sweet taste, quite well balanced.

Bottle that Ash gave me - cheers mate! Hazy, slightly insipid deep gold with a thin white head and a pleasant frothy mouthfeel. Fresh, slightly tropical hop aroma. Tastes of marmalade, sweet spices, roasted brown bread and a little pine and caramel. Dryish finish, with a lasting bitterness that is maybe a little too robust for the flavours to cope with. A decent brew nevertheless.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2017 First: Tap at Redchuch taproom in Bethnal Green 04/06/2017. Back then I rated it 3.4. Second: Tested on 330 ml bottle from HonestBrew on 17/10/2017. Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and some dry grass notes. Hazy yellow body and big and fluffy, long-lasting white head. Taste is hoppy and bitter with strong citrus notes. Quite "dry" palate which is typical for Redchurch.
