4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ home. Nice simply label. Strong and fine aroma. Appearance was spongy and pretty, but vanished too soon. Little bit burned dry coffee in taste and palate. Overall very enjoyable stout.
Pullo @ Alko. Kaatuu snifteriin sysimustana, ison (n. 3 sormen) hieman tumman vaahdon suojaamana. Suutuntuma on melko täyteläinen, öljyinenkin.
330ml bottle. Pours jet black with a tan head. Nose is orange peel, roasted malts, milk chocolate and a milky coffee. Silky mouth feel, medium ice cream texture. Taste is smokey, roasted malt, bitter chocolate, milk chocolate, milky coffee and some bitter orange peel. This is one of the best stouts I have ever had. There is genuinely nothing wrong with this at all. Boom !! Kauge (1958) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 17, 2017
Bottle. BB 02.02.2018. Very dark brown with big and persistent beige head. Burnt roasty, sweet, some grassy hops. Fairly bitter, in fact. Smooth, soft mouthfeel. Good, but kinda fell short from expectations. TBone (17565) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 17, 2017

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 211117, from Alko, 20170609) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice and mildly sourness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, lightly sourness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A pleasant balanced stout. dunklermessias (205) - Lüneburg, GERMANY - JUN 6, 2017
Growler fill at Lager Lager, Berlin. Pours with a nontransparent, nearly black color and a nice tan head. Aromas of roasted maltsand coffee. Taste of roasted malt, dark chocolat and coffee, slightly dried apricot and hints of pepper at the end. Nice bitter-dry finish. karpik (1182) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - JUN 5, 2017
Coffee, roasted malts, chocolate and ash in nose. Pours black with tan head. Taste is medium sweet with roasted malts, some caramel, coffee, chocolate, ash. Medium bitter finish, average to soft carbo, average+ body. Overall very good. blackradioboy (214) - SCOTLAND - JUN 4, 2017
Bottle from Waitrose. My first Redchurch and it's pretty good. Slight complexity here. Not too boozy - despite the 7.5% - so easy to drink. Just slightly harsh afters.
