gnoff (10226) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - FEB 2, 2014
Draught at the Amon Amarth show in Ft Lauderdale, FL. Samled on January 26, 2014.
Clear golden color, small white head. Apple scent. Apples, sweet taste. Apple aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. A bit tart. Strikes me as a decent cider.

It poured a clear pale golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of light apple with a medium body and low carbonation. The taste was nice light apple. Not bad.

Picked up during "snow storm 2014" at the gas station on the 3 hour commute home. Clear gold with minimal head. Smell is apple juice and crisp malts. Taste is caramel apple, apple juice, light tart bite, mixed with light lager beer. And thats about it.

What do you say about a beer like this? If I wanted to drink apple juice I would put vodka in it. It really isn't bad. Can't imagine ordering it if not rating it

Nope... not really something that I would enjoy drinking again... like ciders, but as an "apple beer" this one does not make it.

agl108 (1226) - Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2014
12 oz. bottle. Poured clear light caramel with no head. Spritzy appearance. Disgustingly sweet apple flavor. Tastes like a wine cooler. Thin as water. This shit sucks.

Reason for the higher score is that it is excellent for cooking. Beer batter recipe for crispy fish is awesome that I have come up with as a chef. One cup of flour, 1/2 cup of semolina, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, half teaspoon of garlic powder, teaspoon of pepper, one bottle of red’s Apple ale. The semolina will allow the batter to stay crispy even if the chicken or fish sets for an extended period of time. The sweetness of the Reds adds a flavor to the batter that is awesome.

beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - JAN 7, 2014
Its apple juice.. sweet and fruity but not as much as a cider. Not really beer but tasty and inoffensive. Try it with some hot cinnamon liqueur or whiskey. .. much more interesting.

HuskerTan (2168) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - DEC 28, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. A- Apples, cinnamon. A- Caramel color, clear liquid, no head. T- Sweet, slight sourness, strong apples tones, subtle cinnamon tones. P- Light body, thin texture, lively carbonation, crisp dry finish. O- A good apple ale. Not too sweet or overpowering.

Ironicmedic (77) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 25, 2013
From bottle, taste like a carbonated apple juice. No real beer flavour. Can't smell the apples.
