UPDATED: JUN 11, 2013 I ferment several ciders a year, this is an odd one. It’s aroma has a very odd off flavor, almost in Jolly Rancher candy form, which makes me wonder what it really is. It has a hollow flavor with very candy tasting notes, not at all like anything I make which also makes me wonder what is in this. Very bland for an apple cider, but this is an apple ale? It is boiled? I’m not really sure what this is but it’s more in the watered down alcopop of fruit offerings. The bottle says "natural apple flavor" which tells me my nose and tastebuds are correct in something’s just not right in this one. It will be my last.

Very refreshing, smell of apples, taste of apples pretty much any other apple brew I have had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by a friend. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Aroma of malt and dank apple. Malty flavor with apple juice character before a sweet finish.

Sample courtesy of Rogueone. Pours a pale reddish-amber color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of apple and malt. Light-bodied and tastes like carbonated malted apple juice. The finish is artificial apple and saccharine sweetness. Below average overall.

Golden with a small white head. Aroma is of apple, very sweet with a hint of Granny Smith tartness. Taste is of apple juice.

travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Bottle. The look is clear, not much head, golden color. The smell is apple of course, sweet, tart, and ok. The taste is weak, some apple, and eh.

this is not a beer. if it was it would be awful. that being said cider aroma, Carmel color. tastes like an ale. tastes like it smells. I Do not care for most beer. this smells and tastes great. I know this could be improved on micro-brew style. I will try these brews soon and report.

poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - MAY 30, 2013
12 oz clear bottle. Pours clear golden with a crackling white head that disappears immediately, leaving no trace of foam whatsoever. Aroma is cider-like, no surprise there; smells like tart apples. Tastes like a cider mixed with a generic macro beer. I was expecting total cider, but there is a beer element here. It starts out sweet before becoming a little tart. Body is paper thin, carbonation high, watery. Inoffensive chugger with little depth.

Onslow (1495) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Pour from a 16oz can. Piss yellow beverage with fizzy head that settles into a faint scum on the surface. Aroma of fake jolly rancher apple candy. Taste follows aroma. Bleh.
