I really like it as a change of pace. Really tastes nothing like beer at all

Transfer from BA review on 4-15-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer is a golden color with a big pure white head that forms upon pouring. The head fades super fast leaving almost no lacing on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is very hard cider like with a strong apple juice smell mixed with just a hint of a caramel sweetness as well as a tiny amount of a bready smell. Taste- The taste begins very sweet and of a big apple juice like flavor. There are notes of a caramel sweetness upfront as well which last till the end of the taste. While quite sweet upfront, the sweetness does fade slightly more toward the end, but still remains rather sweet leaving a very hard cider flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is very crisp and light with a carbonation level that is a bit on the higher side. Both are quite appropriate for the hard apple cider flavor of the brew and make it rather crisp and refreshing. Overall – I am not sure what part of this is actually an ale. This tastes exactly like a sweet hard cider to me. Not bad, but more sweet cider like then beer like that is for sure.

This really was just not my thing. Tastes pretty much like a bad watered down hard cider.

Bottle. Got it is a random draw special. All this is is watered down crappy cider. The only people that seem to like this crap are drunk party chicks at the bar at 1:00 a.m.

Clear pale straw with a fizzy cola-like head, no retention. Ciderish, red and yellow apple aroma with sugar. Caramel flavoring and sugar covered red apples fill the palate, with a candied apple flavor on the finish. Pretty generic and mainstream-oriented.

Taste like Apple Juice. Goes down easy but mostly because it tastes super sweet. Smells much if apples. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from meighbor Bob - thanks! Must be one of the best in its breed. Crisp and nicely sweet. Just perfect for a cider ale.

From tallboy. Light hiss when opening. Appears to be a transparent pale golden color. Lots of apple aroma, but like a warm apple that’s been sitting out and gotten brown, lots of cereal, grainy character, not incredibly appetizing. Apple in flavor is dominant, tastes like a cider mixed with bud light. Apple character just doesn’t have a crispness to it, very flat, one noted. Finishes with a light lager-esque flavor, but I know...it’s brewed like an ale. Just meh.

12oz bottle pours a pale apple juice color without any head. Definite apple flavor addition. A bit of apple sourness at the end.
