Drinking from a bottle, I won’t bother pouring. The aroma is candyish, not unpleasant, but not really anything like an ale. Looks good due to artificial coloring, a sort of light copper. The taste of this product is not nearly as Kool Aidish as the aroma; the apple flavoring is not subtle but nowhere near as overwhelming as the scent would make you think. As for the "ale" part of the name, I can’t say I detect anything approaching ale in the flavor. It does finish pleasantly clean. It is also worth nothing that the palate is quite thin for an "ale". Overall, it’s tasty and inoffensive but not worth the price tag. An authentic hard cider could be had for the same price as opposed to this artificial concoction.

Tried for first time, not bad. Not the best but not bad. More like a cider though ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is eqrthy apples. Sweet, fruity and juicy apples. Light, slight sweet. Mild earthy note. Fruity finish.

From the can after many free Miller Lites at the Vikings draft party. Sugary candy apple aroma. Taste of sugary sweet candy apple flavoring. Just too sweet and sugary like a kids apple drink.

Australian version from CUB (4%).330ml bottle into shaker. Aroma of stale malt, cardboard and tin. Crystal clear amber beer with two finger white head, steady stream of fine bubbles. Tastes like weak fruit juice that has been filtered through white bread crusts. Weird! I find it hard to believe that there was a demand somewhere for this. Quick! More focus groups!

Can from a friend. Pours a clear golden colour with a very thin white head. Aroma of apple, white sugar, slight white bread and subtle cardboard. Taste of apple juice, white sugar and subtle bready malt. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A sweet, apple juice finish. Not a beer, more like a cider, and not a very good one at that. Like cheap French cider.

Clear glass bottle. Clear golden color. Aroma is sweet apple juice. Taste is red apple juice. Sweet with a slight chemical cleaner taste that is a bit off putting.

kajser27 (1931) - Zagreb, CROATIA - SEP 12, 2016
Clear, pale golden-yellow colored, almost no head. Aroma of some apple juice, sugary. Taste is medium- sweet apple juice, sugar and stale pale lager... Watery.

I wouldn’t call this an Ale. This more like a cider. On a hot day for thurst.

Strange, in that I expected this to be a bit more ale like, but it’s more like a mass produced cider. I guess that’s what they were going for. Aroma was apples, flavor was apple juice.

Pours a medium straw with a white head. Light carbonation. Very sweet apple flavor. Not tart like a cider. Nothing great.
