Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy head. Copper-gold with a creamy head. Hoppy but there’s a fair whack of toffee-caramel in its aroma and taste. Has a bitterness.

Idiosynkrasie (7609) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 25, 2015
500ml bottle. Chrystal clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Cautious citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of kiwifruit and gooseberry, a floral touch, lemon biscuit basis. Taste is fruity hoppy, gooseberry and kiwi again, slightly sweet pale malty basis, quite explicit notes of honeydew melon; super-soft palate. Very gentle, subtle, cautious - pubescent West Coast swank antipode.

500ml bottle from ales by mail. Appearance is a hazy light copper colour with a thin layer of white bubbles. Aroma is yeasty with tropical fruits and honey. Taste is slightly herbal, piney with some lingering caramel flavour. A grassy bitterness comes through late.

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2015
Bottle from Ales by Mail. Good looking copper coloured beer, foamy bubbly white head. It’s a little yeasty in both aroma and taste initially, but has a pleasant warming finish, rounded and a little creamy. Grassiness creeps in very late on, there’s a bit of woodiness then some more yeast and medicinal notes. Slightly mixed up, interesting, could do with a bit more refinement

HampshirePhil (241) - Portsmouth/London, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2015
500 ml bottle - Cloudy orange Amber appearance, white frothy head, slight carbonation. Slight honey like taste but with citrus hop aromas. Very smooth, ever so slight crisp on the palate.

lusikka (7814) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 22, 2014
500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber colour with a small head. Aroma of juicy mango and orange fruitiness, citrus and grass. Flavour of strong grassy bitterness, orange, kiwi, biscuit and some pine. Medium bodied. Lingering bitter finish with tart citrusy notes. Good.

MissPxx (991) - Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2014
Fruity, almost grapefruity aroma with a massive fruity hit. Syrupy tasting and quite thick for a lighter beer. Dark amber colour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
