Bottle. My first from this brewery.Bronze and a bit thin.Slightlly hoppy with some fruitiness. Name is a clever play on words but the beer is not so creative..

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2014 Half pint at the Euston Tap. A: Pale amber, bronze, cloudy, kept a lid of film, lots of lacing. S: Apples on the turn. T: Earthy, burnt toffee, some wheat and fruit slightly on the turn. M: Medium body, moderate carbonation. O: Decent enough but fell between session beer and something really memorable.

Lovely hop aroma with luscious foam that lasts the whole pint. Nice malty flavor with a medium body. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Nose is butterscotch, red berry, slight biscuit. No head looks grim. Taste is butterscotch leading to berries then a very slight hop lift in the short too dry finish. Mouthfeel is too thin. It;s a reasonable bitter.

(draught) pours a slightly hazy deep copper colour with a creamy off-white head. aroma of herbal hops and yeast, quite meaty, with a hint of cherries, peaches and perfume. flavour is more cherries and some grapes, with light notes of grain and milk chocolate. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

On cask at the Grosvenor. Appearance - amber with a nice head. Nose - herbs pine and a touch but just a touch of toffee. Taste - creamy orange with again just a touch of biscuit. Almost like an orange cheesecake. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - an enjoyable bitter even if Id have enjoyed more biscuits.

McNeillR (2264) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 9, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2014 Mahogany amber, creamy eggshell white head and neat lacing. Pine fresh, light woody/earthy. Like an old clean rug. Tastes smooth, low carb, light bitter. Lemon tang, wee bit dusty towards the finish. However this is a smooth metally sheen. Decent enough, very pleasing to have an enjoyable bitter for the sake of a tick.

Cask, Grovesnor, Edinburgh
