jjsint (2998) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2017
Handpull cask at the Champion of the Thames, Cambridge. Deep golden, clear with a few white foamy bubbles masquerading as head. Light sulphur in the aroma, some wheaty grain, dried grass. Taste is bittersweet with a well-judged astringency and an nice sour note. Some savoury/spicy hoppy notes in the finish with a bitter medicinal aftertaste. Fuller body than most basic bitters, but this isn’t really basic. It’s got a pleasant complexity to it, and it feels good to have it in my mouth.

Towey1989 (2698) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2016
Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear pale amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange zest, lemon, a hint of curry powder and some spicy hops. Taste of orange, lemon, slight biscuity malts and some spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. An extremely easy drinking bitter, lots of citrus zest in the aroma and a balanced taste. Simple but I enjoyed it.

Grumbo (2827) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2016
Cask at The Dolphin, Holborn, London. Pours clear golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of light hop, caramel, fruit and malt. Medium sweetness, and bitterness. Light/medium body, texture slightly oily. Soft carbonation. Finish is more bitter with a moderate sweetness. Rather nice, good for a sub 4% ale.

planky84 (3214) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2016
Cask at the Richard I, Greenwich. Amber pour with a white head. Bitter citrus, sulphur, bitter herb aroma. Malty bitter citrus action in the flavour. OK.

StevieT (1997) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 24, 2016
On tap. Pretty much what you’d expect, well balanced hop flavours, just enough to be interesting, very drinkable.

rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 5, 2015
Cask at the JDW Willow Walk, London, England.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Airy and malty aroma. Weak. Mild malty flavour. Watery. Utterly flavourless. Bad.

MissPxx (970) - Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2015
Sweet hoppy aroma. Dark caramel tones. Tastes really syrupy, thick and sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pistacho (55) - SPAIN - JAN 27, 2015
Cask conditioned at the Southampton Arms. Grain, bread and yeast in the aroma. Light and well ballanced in the mouth with grain and fresh yeast presence, some hop notes. Goes a bit fruity as time pass. Great session beer.

allmyvinyl (10486) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 24, 2015
Cask at the haymarket. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of light lemon, malt. Taste is light sweet. Light body, thin finish.

ManVsBeer (10253) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2015
Cask @ Sawyers Arms, Manchester. Clear Golden with a small creamy head. Has a few smooth malts in its aroma. Its taste has a crisp but light fruitiness with a nice smoothness in the palate.
