Bottle from Bridgend Services, Freuchie. Pours clear. Light amber. Thin, lacy off-white head that hangs around for a bit. Citrus on the nose first. Lemon and grapefruit. Juice and rind. Straw malt. Digestive biscuit. Nice. Taste has more citrus character. Lemonade spritz. Pithy grapefruit again. Light bready sweetness from the malt. Good amount of bitterness. Crispy and a little drying towards the finish. Real depth and way more oomph than I expected from this 3% light ale. Lightish carbonation and a lightish body but much fuller than I would’ve thought it’d be. Superb sessionable ale. AshtonMcCobb (6514) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 24, 2016

Clear golden ale with a white head. Bitter, zesty aroma. Taste is grassy citrus, creamy mouthfeel. Very dry, bitter aftertaste. A touch watery in the finish but it holds up very well compared to other beers of similar strength. mr_h (5434) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - OCT 11, 2016
