Nice, well-behaved red ale. I’d be lying if I said I could pick out the hemp seed taste. luttonm (6956) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 1, 2014
22oz squatty bottle, a joint with Red Hook, to celebrate legalization in Washington state. green-gray tinged orange, nice foam. Big sticky sweet hops and green hemp/bud. Of course lots of good hops and hemp/weed go together in a beer, works well here, and balances out somewhat with the drier, earthier malts and sticky hops. Tasty beer, way better than I expected. The version I had was from a 22 oz. bottle from Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville, Washington, bottled on 10/16/13 and drunk from a large glass on 11/24/13. That bit of "catty flavor" another reviewer noted is actually from the hemp that is used in the brewing. I don’t know if they used marijuana buds or not. But hemp and hops actually make a pleasantly nice mixture. From a half-full 24 oz. glass, the marijuana and hop aroma is quite pleasing, but the hemp clearly dominates, or should I say the pot clearly dominates. robforbes (2278) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - NOV 24, 2013
pours a clear dark amber with a small white head, and good lacing.

22. Certainly an interesting curiosity. Pours a clear burnished dark amber with a loose tan head and decent lace. Intensely dark toasted caramel and roasted seed nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel and roasty, oily seed husks on the mid palate. Dark and earthy and a little sour near the end. Long earthy dark finish.

From a growler. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a thick off white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of hemp, pine and caramel. Tastes of the same things in the smell with a nice herbal hemp flavor being most noticeable. Mouthfeel is light and chewy with good carbonation. This is one of the most unique and tasty beers I’ve had for a while. My new favorite Redhook beer. Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 11, 2013
Pours slightly hazy orange with a finger white head.
Smell hoppy and fresh cut grass.
Taste much the same

On tap at Post Street Alehouse, Spokane. Pours clear amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is hoppy, very dank. Taste is bittersweet, hoppy, very weed like. A little vegetal. Not bad. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 26, 2013
Tap, brewery. Pours a clear copper body with a minimal off-white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is nicely hoppy with some citrus and tropical fruitiness. Some nice nice possibly Simcoe like notes in here. The flavor is moderately bitter with more citrus flavor than bitterness. Light caramel malt body. There’s a little bit of a catty flavor to the hops as well as tropical fruit. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Fairly short citrus hop finish. Overall a pretty OK beer, but nothing that stands out from the crowd. I do like the tropical fruit like notes though. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - SEP 21, 2013
Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Easy drinking amber ale with a light taste of hemp. I get the hops and all but I did not taste the hemp.
