Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Light fruity hops, sweet malts, and relatively light bitterness. Not bad.

Pours a pale golden with 1 finger head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of toasted malt and bitter hops. Mild to moderate bitterness, light body. Short, crisp finish. This is definitely session beer. It’s fair and drinkable for a refreshing summer, but it’s pretty straightforward overall.

stravale (3065) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - JUL 12, 2014
Bottle from Desmond’s Next Door, Kimmage, Dublin [100714]
Golden amber, frothy white head, slight lacing
Aroma of soft sweet light caramel, nothing else
Taste of soft sweet light caramel, very slight bitter hop, touch of honey biscuit, light flavour, hardly any hops at all, bland, rather non-descript
Palate - soft carb, light to medium body, bit oily, soft sweet. Finish as main flavour, cleans off palate
Overall - Little going on here, no off aroma and flavours so not too bad to drink

Pretty shitty and watery pale ale. I think this was at Buffalo Wild Wings? Probably went well with the Wild sauce for a bit till i switched to Miller as usual.

Bottle. Golden color. Nothing strong aroma or taste wise. Gently hopped. Just kind of blah nothing too interesting.

Poured from a regular bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a gold-amber color with a slight orangeish hue and a smaller foamy white head with short retention, and little cling or lacing. Its aroma had a light malty caramel and barley scent with some straw, grass, and grainy notes as well. The taste was mostly sweet and malty with a strong caramel presence and a slight grainy bitterness as it goes. A fairly well carbonated beer with an average wetness and a somewhat dry mouthfeel.

I have no idea who Dan Patrick is or why he was involved w/ the making of this beer. I will refrain from looking him up until after my review so as not to be biased. This beer pours a clear orange golden color and mostly headless. It has a subtle hoppy nose which almost seems a bit Pilsener-like w/ lots of floral notes--though it smells a bit to caramelly for a Pils. Taste is about the same, fuity floral hops and quite a bit of sweetness for a lighter ale. The palate is kind of thick and heavy for this reason but medium carbonation helps to cut it and keeps the beer on the good side of cloying, albeit just barley, and it starts to get kind of grassy and weird as it warms. This stuff seems to pride itself on being very drinkable and it doesn’t quite hit that mark but it’s still reasonably tasty.

Bottle. Light orange malt and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with large head and nice lacing. Lightly sweet orange malt and mildly bitter orange peel flavor. Very light body. No bad flavors - just bland.

Hangover (1136) - oxford, Georgia, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Amber pour with a thick off-white head. Aroma is of toasted malt. Earthy, malty flavor. A bit astringent and metallic. Quick, bitter finish. Not sure what this one is trying to do.

bottle, 355ml. golden color, white head. Nothing strong aroma or taste wise. Gently hopped. Closer to a lager? Quiet enjoyed this for a session beer.
