On tap at Portsmouth. Pour was orangey amber, a thin head but nice lacing. Aroma was floral was sweet fruit. The flavor was syrupy fruits, pear and orange, with a faint floral edge. Very little bitterness to balance the sweetness and almost tastes like an IPA past its prime (but obviously not given where I had it). Watery and thin. It’s a typical Redhook effort...a weak and mediocre example of the style, but no off flavors or obvious defects. GodOfThunder (1249) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUL 22, 2010
Bottle, thanks to dchmela. Pours a hazy bronze. Strong bitter hop aroma. Thin and watery, but still has a nice flavor. Not bad. bb (9695) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 20, 2010

(22oz bottle, courtesy of Mar) Pours a clear orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of orange, caramel, grass, and florals. Flavor of caramel malt, grass, earth, apricot, and pine with a moderately bitter finish. mcberko (18431) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2010
22 oz. bottle, pours hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of hops, pine, floral notes, orange zest and caramel malt. Flavour of hops, sweet caramel, pine and orange, with a mild bitterness that lingers. Very nice, though I could use a bigger hop punch.

Bottle. Brilliant amber color/ rich off white head. Mild soap, pine grass aromas. medium bodied. Nice hoppy pine, floral flavors with a caramel, mild boozy back drop. hellbilly (3248) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 14, 2010
clear golden orange with and off white head.
it smells a little skunky. but, for the most part it is piney, pithy, orange, pale caramel and grassy.
the flavor is the same... orange, resinous, pithy and definitely not sweet.
crispy resinous texture is easy to put away. 7/3/7/3/15/3.5

of some bitter grapefruit rind and weak malt mar (5434) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 8, 2010
Nice amber pour with a thick cream colored head. Nose is bitter hops, very fresh florals, and pine. Not bad on the palate, flavor is faint bitter hops, florals, and a lineup finish. As it warms it gets really bitter. savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JUL 2, 2010
22 oz bottle. Clear light amber with a big rocky beige head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of biscuits, light herbal, citrus and floral hops and lighter caramel. Mostly sweet English malt flavors with a smooth mild bitterness, not much alcohol in the taste but there is a slightly metallic finish. Medium body, mild carbonation and a slightly watery mouth feel. Pretty good for Redhook, but tasted more like a strong ESB to me.
