very dark red brown. Aroma of raisins, hay, coffee. Tastes cherry cola, caramel, creamy yeast. jsnicholas (650) - Woodinville, Washington, USA - JUL 30, 2014
Draft at brewery. Dark/black. No head. Some chocolate, malts bourbon. Not well done though. Tasted a little watery. No need to drink againmaxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 10, 2014

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a very dark brown color with a moderate light tan head on it. Nose is a bit roasty, but is heavily dominated by the whiskey, with a bit of wood peaking through. Taste is very boozy, to the point of being almost too harsh for me; in fact, I only got a slight hint of roasting in the taste. Prefer the non-barrel-aged one, personally. bhensonb (15493) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Tap at OBF. Pours black with a light tan head. Aroma is light whiskey - not really bourbon. Full bodied. Flavor is fairly bitter black ale with oak and even whiskey aspects. Not getting bourbon tho.
