Nice black color with a deep roasted coffee aroma. Hints of burnt chocolate on the palate. Absolutely delicious.

Good dark brew. One of the best porters on the market.

For some reason I wasn’t expecting much from this beer, but it surprised me. One of Redhook’s better brews.

Very good. I love dark, chocolaty beers and this beer fits nice into those two areas.

In the world of porters this one is a bit odd. I need to try it again to get a better opinion.

Great porter beer. The best Redhook beer in my opinion. This ranks up there with Boulevard Bully Porter for me. I would buy this again anyday. Very smooth.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a very dark brown color with a very small tan head on it. Nose is very roasty, almost to the point of seeming entirely like a chilled coffee. Taste is also quite roasty and slightly bitter, but has a really pleasant hint of chocolate coming through. Really enjoyable beer.

A nice dark porter. aroma of roasted malts. very smooth but better cask-conditioned or on a nitro tap than bottled.

Nice porter with some authority & good tatse. Slightly bitter aftertase that went away quickly.
