Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow golden with a small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a light malt with yeast and light hop. The taste is a corn malt with light fruit and a bitter finish. Not too much going on with this golden ale from Redhook. fidelis83 (2437) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - DEC 31, 2008
Pours light gold with a few tiny particulates and a 1 finger white head that quickly fades to a skim. Aroma is raw bread dough, wet straw, mop water and citrus hops. Flavor is grainy malt, sweet, toast and roast, a little nutty even. FInish is bitter hops grainy malt and a little corny, not sure if this has corn though. Body is thin and well carbonated. Decent brew, would be good for a BBQ / with ribs or other rich succulent meats. Not a great brew but I could see myself knocking back quite a few on a nice summer (hopefully bbq) evening. otismulligan (34) - Yardley, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 28, 2008
