Faint aroma of oranges.Hazy amber, no head. Weak flavor of oranges, slightly perfumey, orange peel finish. Low intensity session beer, perhaps too sessionable. Drinkable, though. freezy (55) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 26, 2011
poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. 1/2" off white head, slightly cloudy deep yellow. I didn’t see a copper color tone anywhere. Funny everybody says there are no hops but it is the only thing besides alcohol to smell. Nice feel in the mouth. Fast dissipating mild hop flavor with a finish that is like licking a aluminum spoon that was dipped in weak sugar water. The flavor is forgotten quickly. Drinkable I guess if tasting like beer is your metering unit. 5.8%apv could sneak up on you. robgibbens (432) - Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - JUN 8, 2012
Nice clear copper color with a small head. Looks nice. Caramel aroma is straightforward. Clean, refreshing finish. BillKismet (4165) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 15, 2003
Lambent orange soft foam head with profuse bubbles. Sanitized, stank hops with a brush of apricot skin in the nose. Light flavor, reflective of the aroma, but with a slightly sour finishJayson2425 (167) - Box Elder, South Dakota, USA - APR 10, 2004

This scotch colored amber left a diffuse tingly hop presence in the mouth, but otherwise was rather dull and flat. Not bad, but not quite good either--just unimpressive.
I wasnt too impressed with redhook brewery in making this beer. Amber ale is still a good choice

This is not a very good beer at all. Even at 2.99 rating it is still overrated. No reason I can think of as to why you would want to partake of this. Its almost more offensive than the crappy macros. pinkzambia (2111) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 2, 2006
Bottle: This is NOT an amber ale! I wish it was put in the right category. Anyway, it is a cloudy gold color with fine sediment floating around with a small, white bubbly head and sticky lacing. The aromas are sweet and the flavors are soapy sweet and wheat notes. YUCK. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - APR 26, 2007
Mild sweet malty aroma with grapefruit hop aroma. Clear copper with a thin head. Chalky, malt, sour dough, cardboard, and hop flavour notes. Farily bitter front to finish. pintsize (1041) - Austin, Texas, USA - FEB 1, 2008

Clear orange amber with little head. Very light subtle smell. First thing that I can notice is the overly carbonated palate. Citris tasting. In all honesty, this tastes identical to lime perrier!! Nothing else to it - it is really just lime perrier. Interesting - seems like a clone. Not beer-like at all though.
light copper color with little head. taste was alright but did have the skunk taste of a bud light or miller light. wouldn’t purchase again unless i was out to eat and it was the only option.
