(draft) Rich red copper body, clear with minimal head. Minimal caramel aroma. Flavor is sweet caramel, with a slight bitterness that becomes more noticeable at the end. Medium bodied. PBOYNY (316) - Westchester, New York, USA - SEP 22, 2003
nothing special about this very hoppy and somewhat strange tasting ale. I have had alot better october beers, but this will do when nothing else is available. PhatB420 (841) - Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 15, 2004
Wonderful aroma, well crafted brew, enjoyed the resounding flavor immensly. dberger624 (1028) - Voorhees, New Jersey, USA - DEC 20, 2004
Draft at the Grey Lodge in Philly. Yhay another boring OFest. No spice, hops, or malt. Tasted what ir should be. oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2005
Medium amber with a small head. Malty aroma wtih hints of toffee. Malt and caramel flavor finished kinda weak.

This was not as good of a beer as I thought it would be. It poured a nice orange color with a thick white head. It was a little too hoppy for the style and that is what made it less appealing to me. DYCSoccer17 (3706) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 9, 2004
I am guessing this is the same "Oktoberfest" I had. Very roasty aroma . Quite sweet with brown sugar and caramel malts in the nose. Smells good. Transparent orange copper honey color with an off-white head. Malty, buttery, and somehwhat roasty start. Middle is way too thin. Finish is too hopped for the style. Cascade, piney hops to finish. Way off.
