Had this many times when I first started to get into craft beer and surprised I hadn’t rated it yet. Had it recently and you know what? It wasn’t bad. Some hops and good flavor. Very drinkable. dfearnley (2405) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 28, 2013
Draft to plastic cup
Fruit, spruce, a little funky. Light amber, thin creamy white head. A little sour, decent hoppiness, but some lagery funk at the end. Is this an IPA? deaconmike (470) - Roswell, Georgia, USA - AUG 19, 2013
On tap. Pours mostly clear gold. Aroma is citrusy hops. Taste is balanced, but more on the bitter side. Body is light and refreshing. Very drinkable IPA. Overall, this is a light, easy drinking IPA...very sessionable. GIJOE (1258) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - AUG 7, 2013
Pours golden with a hint of red; foamy white head that stays a while.
Aroma is straight malt with a nice hop overlay. Slightly citrusy. Not nearly as hoppy as a lot of IPAs. Flavor is balanced malt and hops. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Nice brew!

Bottle at a friend’s house. Pours golden tellow. Nose is hops and not much else; flavor is more like a pale ale, with mild bitter hops. Bland.

Bottle at DØE BeerFest 2013. Clear yellow - white head. Fresh hoppy, light sweetness, toasted, cactus, light citrus, bitterness, ok malty, herbal hoppy notes. MarkQ (83) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 13, 2013
Easy to drink IPA... I like it for that reason. I think I paid about $3 for the bottle... how can you complain? Not much aroma to it... like the description says... it’s light (the label says bold but I don’t think that really suits this beer) Rune (13760) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2013
100ml from a bottle, 6.2% abv, at ØK ’13. Near-clear golden body. Spotty lacing. Fresh aroma of fruity hops. Blended taste of citrus fruits leading to a bitter ending of citrus peels. Medium bodied. Nice and refreshing (Copenhagen, 24.05.2013). ajtrupp (340) - Broomfield, Colorado, USA - MAY 30, 2013
I feel like the label on Redhook says it all. Fairly straight ahead. Call it good and traditional or semi-boring, depending on how you feel. Either way, good beer.

Rough notes from Ølfestival 2013 , Tap 1. A clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Light citrussy nose. Rather plain flavor of toasted malts and fragant citrussy hops. Medium bitter finish. Not bad, just mediocre.
