2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at City Crab & Lobster in NYC. Quite unique to find this on tap here in NYC because places that carry Red Hook normally would have the ESB not the IPA. Pours a golden yellow with a dissipating head and a nice lacing on top. Nice light smell of citrus. An okay IPA but the hops did not come through here. The floral hop flavors are just too mild and dissappointing. Below average for the style IPA but still drinkable and refreshing. However, it is the best thing on tap at this restaurant so I’ll get it again if I eat here.
UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 Exactly what you think of when you go into a craft brewery and ask for their ipa. Light crisp. Hops but not overly hoppy. Balanced. Bottle Baramba (1038) - ITALY - SEP 16, 2014
Light orange color, citrus hop aroma. Very fizzy, and not having much flavor. Luvystypotables (2039) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - MAR 27, 2014
A mild aroma of citrus and hops. Pale amber color not much head. A pleasant balanced taste with just a touch of bitterness. A short lasting slightly bitter palate. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAR 22, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a orange-copper cloudy body with a small white head, no lacing.
The smell was hoppy, floral with some grassiness and lemon notes.
The taste had strong hops, yet still some spices come out as the beer warms.
The palate was about a medium, sessionable, strong hoppy grassy finish, no aftertaste.
Overall, this was a pretty good AIPA, I’d have this again. Ambro206 (362) - ITALY - MAR 5, 2014
Una buona birra luppolata. Manca un po’ di corpo, al primo impatto in bocca non convince ma poi il retrogusto luppolato è piacevole anche se non molto bilanciato.

Sadly aroma with flavors of fruit. Poor with taste unfortunately. But I liked this beer anyway. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
