Was happy to find this in F(indnogoodbeerorabletovote)lorida. Appearance was nice - the head poured to a creamy white froth, although I was disappointed to see it fade so quickly. The beer itself was lighter in color than some other IPAs but nonetheless was golden with a red tinge. Taste was good - nice hop bite - though watery at times - unlike McNeil I did not detect diacetyl in this one. Palate - one thing I donít like about IPAís is the bitter hop remnants that stays with you. Overall - IPAs are not my favorite (although I am enjoying them more) but this one seems pretty good, as to be expected from RH. Cheers! scrawfis (143) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2001
Very nice aroma. The beer had a nice
bitterness indicative of the IPA style, but
perhaps too much aroma hopping and too little bitterness.

A good IPA, Redhook did a good job with this one. ucsbdude (68) - Santa Barbara, California, USA - MAY 18, 2002

Alittle to hopped. Not for all beer drinkers. Better on a hot day.

A really nice American-style IPA. Golden in color with a short lived white head. The aroma could be a bit bigger, but offers some bright, citrusy hop notes and a nice sweet malt. The body is pretty firm. The flavor is well balanced between sweet malt and a zippy hop flavor (cascade?). The finish is long lasting with alot of malt and a hop bitterness that is distinct, but not overwhelming. Nicely done. Diego (79) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 25, 2002
A good IPA. Hoppy and full with a gorgeous amber color and fairly good aroma. I prefer Acme but this beer tries hard and succeeds in several ways. zibit (5) - USA - JUL 29, 2002 does not count
The bottles were terrible, but out of the keg its very good. benzim (36) - USA - JUL 30, 2002
Good, bitter, IPA. Not as hoppy in aroma as some. I find this style very quenching, although I see why others might not. Solid beer at a decent price. mikebeertaster (114) - washougal, Washington, USA - JUL 21, 2004
nice beer made better by the location. Safeco field, nice summer day baseball game paid for by the company. Kind of a fruity or flowery flavor, really enjoyed it
