Pours a bright golden body with lingering white head. Smells of citrus soap, almost stale. Flavor is weak for an IPA, watered down taste is still very drinkable. Leaves the palate with a dry bitter taste. Overall a decent attempt from Redhook.

Weak IPA but a good drinker. Hops dont stay around just get a malty essence in the finish. flowers/fruit.

Draught. Nothing spectacular to note here. Great, dry, hoppy IPA. I’m addicted to hops and this hit the spot for me just fine. A little dry on the finish, very drinkable.

Aug, 2008 GBBF, Trade Day,. Gravity cask. Very flowery, very fragrant. Bags of fresh, fruity flavour. Very nice. [3.4]
Jan, 2015 350ml dark bottle, filtered. 2.65 from Beers & Bottle, Southampton. 6.2% Ginger coloured. Zesty hops - not aggressive. Artificial wood smoke flavour. Clean, flat malt. No character, but holds the hop zest well, which is what these hop beers are all about. For a hop forward beer, this is quite acceptable to me - I just wish the malt was a bit more interesting. Wheres the fucking skill in chucking hops into the mix? The real skill is in fermenting the malt. [2.8]

12oz. Pour is very light amber with thin fizzy head. Aroma... where is it??? Flavor is terrible. No hop presence at all. This should be a CBA(Corn Bomb Ale) not an IPA. I heard good things about this one and nope, LIES. Stay away from this shit. I could barely choke this one down.

On tap. Pours golden orange with a foamy white head leaving a light lace. Slightly citrus hop smell with a little bit of earthy grain/pine. Sweet malt dominated. Taste is similar to the aroma with a touch of honey and a lighter body. Really, just an average beer with a tad bit of hop bitterness that beats having a light beer for happy hour.

Bottle shared by Springslicker. Pours orange with a thin white head that does leave light lacing. The aroma is slightly grainy with backing of a mix of malt and hops. The flavor finds orange and caramel. Slight pine flavor also. Light to medium body. Decent, went well with Jays jambalaya.

12 oz bottle. Wish I hadn’t bought the whole sixer. Not a horrible beer, but not very good either. Not as good as the other Red Hooks I’ve enjoyed. Rather bland and thin. Couldn’t pick out any real hoppiness, no subtleties, no nuthin. I love IPAs, but not this one.

Bouteille de 12oz achet au Winooski Beverage Warehouse (Vermont), le 26/9/08. Blonde miel, petit collet. Arome d’houblon trs peu amre, des notes de miel. Got d’houblon un peu sucr, un peu d’amerturme dans la bouche, mais pas mal ennuyant. C’est buvable mais maudit que cette bire est ennuyante!

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Sweet malt aroma with honey, tea, and trace hops. The flavor is also sweet caramel malt with traces of piny hops. Not bad, but a fairly poor IPA.
